This was a neighborhood branding project where I chose my old neighborhood, Prospect-Lefferts Garden in Brooklyn, on the east side of Prospect Park. I used a map of the area as inspiration for the logo.
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my favorite classics of all time. This decades-old novel was given three modern cover options that preserve its timelessness.
OK COMPUTER BOOK
This book is based on the album OK COMPUTER by Radiohead. The lyrics and some gossip can be found on the pages as well illustrations suggestive of a road trip. The book doesn't tell a story; instead it provides a sort of informational map of the album's contents.
On one side of the cards of this 12-piece-puzzle, there is a description of "monsters" from around the world. On the opposite side, the coordinates of the locations where they are rumored to lurk form a map.
The portfolio wouldn't be complete without a proper alphabet.
In the first project, I created letters using items from my sewing box.
The second was based on a photographic scavenger hunt, scouring neighborhoods for the right letters.

This book explores collections; in this case, a collection of playground slides located in Brooklyn.
Using the lobby floor plan of Columbia University's Miller Theater , this exhibition was designed to educate people about the effects of Agent Orange used during the course of the Vietnam War. In the adjoining room, deformed figures reminiscent of surrealist paintings are featured in the tableaux of Vietnamese artist Nguyen Xuan Huy.
